Sneak peek of new Don Meredith book from Suzette Standring

Hey Dave,

WOW. I LOVE IT, and I’m not a sports fan by any stretch. But I do know personality when I feel it, and your book really conveys the heart of a great man.

First, the photos are great.  They drew me right in. So personal and I imagine they are not easily or commonly found.

I love that you make it clear that this is the only full length biography, and your shout out to Nancy Henson for coming up with the idea was so charming.

I didn’t know Meredith was born with polio, and the way you convey his early life, and that he was so well loved by his schoolmates really touched my heart and had me intrigued.

Also, I remember those Monday Night Cosell/Meredith/Griffith games, playing in the background while my father watched.  Now I have such a new appreciation of their white hat/black hat routine.
